The location for our next meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2014 has been changed.
Instead of the Cranberry Barnes and Noble, we will be meeting at Perkins’ Restaurant in Cranberry, beginning at 7p.m. Everyone will be expected to purchase at least a drink.
The Perkins is located about one half a mile south of Barnes and Noble on Route 19 in Cranberry.
If you or someone you know lives in our area, and is interested in writing romance, please consider joining us.
Last meeting we had an attendee from Steubenville, Ohio, and we have a couple of members from the Butler area.
Several of our members have published multiple books, so you are sure to learn something. Our meetings are informal, and much of the meeting is usually devoted to discussion. We also conduct workshops from time to time. We’ve hosted contests in the past and one is planned for the spring.
For more information, simply attend a meeting or a chat.
At our last meeting we decided on a theme for our upcoming writing contest, help tentatively titled “Spring Flowers.”
Those who take part would submit 10 to 15 pages of romance which would include mention of flowers.
We have an editor from a digital publishing company who has volunteered to judge as well as an editor who runs her own business.
More details will be forthcoming.
